Have a Loved One in Jail?
If your loved one is currently housed at the Oconee County Detention Center, here are the next steps:
#1 - Confirm Their Location
Verify they are at the detention center by using the inmate lookup system or contacting the facility directly.
#2 - Encourage Them to Submit a Request
If they are struggling with substance use and want support, have them submit a request on the kiosk to:
Mental Health / Sgt. Alicia Snyder or Leslie Spearman, Program Coordinator
Participation in the Harm Reduction Program is voluntary and must be requested by the individual.
#3 - Contact Us
Families may reach out with general questions or concerns to

Please include:
    •    Loved one’s full legal name
    •    Date of birth (if known)
    •    Your relationship to them
Due to confidentiality laws, specific information cannot be shared without written consent.
