Christ Central Ministry Oconee's mission is to give hope, cultivate change and restore lives for those seeking recovery from substance abuse. 

CCMO/OARS will achieve this mission through a combination of in-house recovery programs and non-residential intervention and educational programs.

From the Beginning

Where We Are Now

Christ Central Ministries Oconee has worked to expand their existing recovery treatment program offerings by integrating the faith-based, public, and private sectors in the community to address the unmet need for treatment programs/services to help individuals with drug/alcohol substance abuse.  

With the support of county officials and thousands of hours of volunteer talent and labor we have use of a transformed Oconee County Detention Center where we facilitate a 30-day inpatient intensive recovery treatment program (OARS) as well as our Aftercare and 6-month Ash Tree program.  We have developed a comprehensive set of program services and the related operations to service clients who are committed to recovery and a new life.  We partner with community resources such as Law Enforcement, Drug Court, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Vocational Rehab, and other regional and local support groups.

A tremendous amount of work has been done by countless volunteers to make OARS what it is today and the progress continues through the help of community partners who have the desire to help change lives.
